AARC follows AAOL's rulings mostly to a tee. However there are some notable changes.
AARC does not enforce player roles. Players are free to change roles on a whim.
AARC allows for teams of 6 minimum, up to a maximum of 8. Teams may have 2 substitutes, with a minimum of 4 rostered players on per match.
All players must be ranked in competitive, and played at least 25 matches to be eligible.
Please see Section 10 of the rulebook for instructions on how to set up the lobby correctly.
AARC uses Marvel Rivals' in-game Hero Ban System.
The rulebook indicates rulings around pausing in-progress maps, however the game does not permit pausing mid-map. The rulings surrounding pauses is to be ignored at this time and is kept in there just in case the feature turns up.
See below for the map pool!
Each week will feature a different starting map. Every map within the Competitive Map pool is a valid map choice until picked.
The loser of a map will pick the next map out of any maps not already played. Map draws default to the prior loser.
Winners of the last map will decide Attack / Defense (if applicable)
